Namyeong was the bass player for the Korean punk band God of Universe. For her final performance with them, she organized a show featuring some of her favorite bands called Music Saves People. The poster described it as a concert for people who had been saved by music, performed by musicians who had also been saved by music, with the hope that together, they might save everyone in the room.

I was moved by the generosity behind the show. The music was fantastic, but the musicians even better. Music Saves People was a reminder that what we love can also be something we give to others. Be a part of Namyeong’s Universe.
